Granting RICS consent to connect to the Run Free Project platform is an essential part of setting up your ecommerce store.
Unlike other ecommerce platforms, the Run Free Project automatically mirrors your in-store inventory through an API connection with your POS (if you're reading this article, your POS is RICS).
Before RICS will share your API key (the secret code we need to connect to your inventory) with us, you have to give them permission to do so. All you will need to do is complete the RICS API Consent Form.
When you visit the consent form URL, there will be some basic terms and conditions to review.
Please note, although RICS indicates a $199 per month cost for API integrations on this page, you will not incur that charge when connecting to the Run Free Project. Their integration charge only refers to connections that are pre-built into the RICS platform (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce, Locally, etc.).
The consent form (shown below) requires basic information about your RICS account as well as the name of the application you're giving them consent to connect to. In this case, the application name is Run Free Project. Once you've completed the form, click submit.
That's it! Once the form is completed and submitted, let us know you've completed this step. We will work with RICS to establish the connection and start your initial inventory sync behind the scenes.
As always, we are here to help. If you need anything at all, simply click the blue chat icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and you will be connected live to a Run Free Project team member!
