Shopping Cart

The virtual shopping cart allows customers to easily review their cart contents by showing a simple summary of each item's name, size, quantity, price, and a preview image. They also have the option of applying any discount codes and/or gift cards. Finally, they can calculate a shipping quote and preview their order total before checkout.

Add A Coupon Code

Customers can use coupon codes that you create in the manage discounts area of your Run Free platform. Only one coupon code can be used per cart.

Using A Gift Card

Customers can apply gift cards to their online purchases by entering the gift card number in the "Use A Gift Card" field. To enable gift card use in your online store, the gift card must be entered into your inventory/POS system (RICS, Heartland, Lightspeed). Each inventory system handles gift cards differently, so be sure to reference the proper system documentation for your inventory/POS system for best practices.

Checkout Details

If a customer has an existing account and has already logged in, their details will be auto-filled. If they do not, they will be prompted to create an account. Required properties to proceed to payment are Name, Email, Billing, and Shipping addresses. They can also verify the cart total and tap continue to proceed to payment.

Payment Details

While the payment process differs based on your store's payment gateway, standard credit card details are required to process payment.

Order Received

Once payment is successfully processed, an Order Confirmation message is displayed. The customer will also receive an email copy of the invoice. They can review a copy of the receipt in addition to the shipping status on their My Account Page.
